TCWA is one of 75 organizations joining the Southern Environmental Law Center’s comment letter regarding EPA’s Preliminary Effluent Guidelines Program Plan #16.
Among other suggestions, the comments urge EPA to complete its study of the Effluent Limitation Guidelines for Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations. We believe the study would demonstrate that the current guidelines fail leave our communities and water resources vulnerable to pollution, and that existing regulations should be revised and improved.
