Board of Directors

Totier Creek Watershed Association is governed by a volunteer board of directors — people who care deeply about the creek and its landscape.

Charlie Alvis and his family live on a farm in the watershed.  Off the farm, Charlie is a trusts and estates attorney whose practice includes advising clients on donating and complying with conservation easements.

David Dienner is a small business owner and longtime resident of the watershed.  David is passionate about protecting the environment and rural way of life.

Andrew Young is the Staff Attorney for the Alleghany-Blue Ridge Alliance where his work focuses on improving public accessibility of critical environmental information and holding regulatory agencies accountable. Andrew also serves on the boards of the Cowpasture River Preservation Association and West Virginia Highlands Conservancy.
