We are excited to report that TCWA will begin regular surface water quality monitoring in the Totier Creek Watershed in 2026!

If you would like to volunteer in the monitoring effort, or if you would just like to learn more, please join us for a water monitoring training program next Saturday, December 13th, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.  This program will be led by our friends from the Socially Responsible Agriculture Project’s Water Rangers.  We’ll hear SRAP’s insights on the environmental impacts of industrial-scale animal production and how to monitor for water pollution caused by factory farms.  We hope you can join us – Lunch is included!  Please complete our training registration form to RSVP.  If you can’t make it, tell a friend! The training will be held on a private farm in Scottsville, VA. The address and more details will be provided after registration.

As our monitoring initiative begins, we would also be grateful for your financial support.  The Totier Creek Watershed Association is a 501(c)(3) organization, and your tax-deductible donation will directly support the organization’s startup expenses and critical work of watershed protection.  Donate today!

Thank you very much for your support of the Totier Creek Watershed.

Sincerely,

Charlie Alvis, Board Member
